Upgrading from a previous version of the Data Integration Validation Tool

If Internet Information Service (IIS) is running it may prevent files from being updated by the installer.

  1. In a command prompt enter iisreset –stop.
  2. Click My Computer and browse to c:\Inetpub\wwwroot.
  3. Perform one of the following:
    • Move any existing DIVT folders to another location to back them up.
    • Delete these folders.
  4. If receiving an error stating that files are in use, verify the Default Web Site is stopped and perform the steps above.
    Note: It may take a few moments after the stop request for IIS to release all the files.
  5. In a command prompt enter iisreset –start.
  6. To upgrade Expere Testing System go to your Apache Tomcat webapps directory. Either move or delete the ExpereTestingSystem folder and the ExpereTestingSystem.war file.
