When launching an older instance of the Data Integration Validation Tool, the following message appears:
Clicking the Details button displays the following information:
- Unable to install this application because an application with the same identity is already installed. To install this application, either modify the manifest version for this application or uninstall the preexisting application.”
Uninstalling the application
To uninstall the application delete the following folder:
- Documents and Settings\'current user'\Local Settings\Apps\2.0
