AuthorizationService – IIS 6.0

1. In IIS Manager go to Web Sites\Default Web Site\AuthorizationService. Right click and choose properties.
   • Go to the Directory tab and verify AuthorizationService appears besides Application name. If not, click the Create button so that AuthorizationService defaults in.
   • Go to the ASP.NET tab. Verify the ASP.NET version is set to 4.0.
2. (If using Expere .NET ) Navigate to Web Sites\Default Web Site\Expere. Right click and choose properties.
   • Go to the Directory tab and verify Expere appears besides Application name. If not, click the Create button so that Expere defaults in.
   • Go to the ASP.NET tab. Verify the ASP.NET version is set to 2.0.
3. Navigate to Web Sites\Default Web Site. Right click and choose properties.
   • Go to the Directory Security tab; select Server Certificate.
     • If you have an existing certificate you can use that. Otherwise the following directions will allow you to create a new one.
       • Choose Create a new Certificate.
         • Microsoft’s IIS 6.0 Resource Kit makes this easy. It is available at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17275
         • Go to Start/All Programs/IIS Resources/SelfSSL/SelfSSL
         • Type selfssl /T and press y when prompted.
