Appendix B: Expere Testing System FAQ

I receive an error that says the system is unable to generate a PDF when I try to assemble the PDF.

If you receive an error while attempting to assemble a PDF, it could be one of the following:

  • A required data item is missing
  • A value for an entered data item causing the document to error out in the assembly process

Why are the browse buttons grayed out?

  • Clicking the Store Session Data button disables the Browse buttons (grayed out). To access the Browse buttons, click the Clear All button.

Why are the View, Save, Clear All, and Print Preview buttons grayed out?

  • Click the Store Session Data button to access these options.

I change a transaction/document but I still receive the same data in Assembly.

  • When changing a transaction or document in Assembly, click the Clear All button to clear the previous data out of the system. After clicking the Clear All button, click the Document DDR button to deliver the desired results.

Why can’t I save a transaction?

When saving a transaction and the following error appears:

  • “Save Product, Retrieve File” – If this error appears, you did not select the check box. This informs the system which sub-directory in which to save the file (or you selected multiple check boxes).

When attempting to use an existing transaction, I am getting XML code instead of returning me to the Assembly.

  • When retrieving a transaction file and the following appears, you clicked the name of the transaction instead of the check box next to the file name (then clicked Enter or OK).
