Prerequisites
- For SQL users, SQL Server Express, Standard or Enterprise is installed.
- Database configuration and settings:
- No limits exist on the length of the database name
- The person performing the installation or update must have administrative rights to the database.
- ORACLE users: In addition to the previous prerequisites, the following apply to Oracle users:
- NLS_CHARACTERSET=AL32UTF8
- For a 64 bit OS, you must use a 64 bit ODAC. Search the Internet for “ODAC x64” to find the 64 bit ODAC.
