- Determine the location to install each data model.
Note: Expere will function correctly if more than one Data Model resides within an Oracle database instance. For security reasons, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services does not recommend co-locating test and production data models within the same database instance.
Determine a location to extract Expere Data Model scripts. The folder requires 100 MB of space. Two versions will be extracted: one for Windows and another for Linux. An Expere data model with no stores or content consumes 4MB of space in the database.
- Users must have the SYSTEM user ID and password (or an equivalent user) to create the Expere owner. With this ID and password, users can complete the install procedure.
