Launch the Expere Data Model Install utility from the Expere Application CD.
Windows Install File: ExpereDataModel_Install.exe.
The Expere Data Model Installation screen displays installation instructions. Read the instructions carefully. Click Next.
The Choose Log and Source Files Location screen appears. In the Where would you like the log files and source files placed field, enter the desired log and source files location.
Click Next to display the Install Location Summary screen. This screen allows the user to review the install folder before installing the source files.
Click Install to continue.
Note: The installation process takes a few minutes. When complete, the installation will advance the user to the Choose Automated or Manual Install screen.
The Choose Automated or Manual Install screen appears. Select Follow the automated steps.
Click Next to display the New or Existing Expere Data Model screen. Select Install New Expere Data Model.
Click Next to display the Expere Data Model Owner screen.
Select Yes, I need to set up an Expere Data Model owner and password.
Click Next.
Perform one of the following:
If choosing Yes.., advance to the Create the Expere Data Model owner via the Expere Data Model installer section.
If choosing No.., advance to the Using a Pre-created Expere Data owner.
