Overview
The
AutoSelect operation performs document autoselection based on an associated transaction. This operation is typically used by the Expere Testing System (XIETS) to support document assembly.
Note: The best practice recommendation to assemble documents is to use the Select, Generate, or SelectAndGenerate operations.
This operation uses the transaction data stored by the CreateTransaction operation. Autoselection is defined by providing the name of an autoselection package or a line of business and phase combination in the request. The response can include both autoselected documents and suggested documents with each defined by either an Autoselected element (to indicate if the document was autoselected) or a Suggested element (to indicate if the document is recommended under some circumstances). Suggested documents are added to the transaction through the AddDocuments operation; if they are not, the documents will not automatically be assembled.
