Expere Testing Installation on WebSphere

  1. Open the WebSphere Administrative Console.
    • (for example: http://<ServerName>:<Port:default=9060>/admin )
  2. If a previous copy or version of the Expere Testing System is installed under Enterprise Applications, click the Stop and Uninstall buttons (in that order).
  3. Select Install New Application from the menu on the left.
  4. Click the Browse button next to Local Path. Navigate to the ExpereTestingSystem.ear file (D:\XIETS\...). Click the Next button at the bottom of the page.
    Note: This process may take a few minutes depending on the network connection and server usage.
  5. The Select Installation Options screen appears. Perform the following tasks:
    • Enable the Precompile JavaServer Pages files checkbox.
    • Verify the Application Name is set to ExpereTestingSystem.
    • Click Next.
  6. Advance through the remaining screen, accepting the defaults (click Next) until reaching the Summary screen.
  7. Click the Finish button at the bottom of the screen.
  8. After the verification process has completed, click the Save link to save to the master configuration.
  9. Click Applications/Enterprise Applications on the left side of the screen. The Enterprise Applications screen appears. Click on the ExpereTestingSystem application.
  10. Under Detail Properties, click the Class loading and update detection link.
  11. Click the Classes loaded with application class loader first option button.
  12. Set the Polling Interval.
    Note: Leave the value at 0.
  13. Click OK.
  14. Click Save to the master configuration.
  15. Logout of WebSphere Administrative Console.
  16. Restart the WebSphere Application Server.
