Expere Testing and Integration Tools

The following sections list the minimum hardware and software requirements to install and run the Expere Testing and Integration Tools: the Expere Testing System, Data Dictionary Viewer, and Data Integration Validation Tool.

Note: Adobe Reader 9 or higher is used with many of the Expere components to view PDF documents generated by Expere.

Software	Notes
Expere Testing System	The Expere Testing System is deployed to either a Java or Windows environment (OS). The hardware and software requirements are the same as the Expere Engine requirements with the exception that the Testing System requires Apache Tomcat (version 5.5 or 6.0) be installed, otherwise JBoss and WebSphere are supported.
Data Dictionary Viewer	The Data Dictionary Viewer is a Windows-based application typically installed on a client machine. It requires a Windows operating system (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Service 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012).
Data Integration Validation Tool	The Data Integration Validation Tool is deployed on a Windows environment. The hardware and software requirements are the same as the Expere Engine requirements and it must be configured for communication to the Expere Engine.

Hardware Requirements

The hardware requirements of the Expere Testing and Integration Tools environment are the same as those for the Expere Engine and Content (Tools) environment.

Disk Space	1.0 GB	For installed software and temporary space on 32-bit systems

	8 GB	Recommended physical memory requirement
Processor	Intel x86-64	1.0 GHz or faster (minimum)
	AMD x86-64	1.0 GHz or faster (minimum)
	Intel Pentium Quad -Core	2.8 GHz or faster (recommended)
Drive	DVD	A DVD drive is required for installation from media.
