Configuring Fonts

Overview

Expere has the capability to create PDFs that use both the base 14 Adobe fonts along with the ability to leverage the thousands of TrueType/OpenType fonts available. By default the following fonts are available and are embedded in the PDF if necessary:

• Helvetica
• Times
• Courier
• BSI Cond
• BSI Sans
• BSI Serif
• Pi

The following are fonts that are available, but by default are not embedded:

• Arial
• Arial Black (No bold or italic)
• Comic (No italic)
• Courier New
• Georgia
• Impact (No bold or italic)
• Times New Roman
• Trebuchet
• Verdana
• More may be added and the embedding behavior of the existing fonts may be modified as will be described below.
