Upper Limit: configuring the Upper Limit setting

The Upper Limit option determines the maximum number of documents to be cached in memory before using the file system to cache.

The default value for Upper Limit can be set within the ExpereTestingSystem.properties file. The default setting for Upper Limit is 50. The system administrator can configure this setting within the ExpereTestingSystem.properties file.

  1. Open the ExpereTestingSystem.properties file in a text editor.
  2. Search for the following section: com.bankerssystems.xiets.cache.UpperLimit=50.
  3. Change the com.bankerssystems.xiets.cache.UpperLimit value to the desired setting.
  4. Save and close the ExpereTestingSystem.properties file.
