Flood Determination Services (FDS) Basic Roles and Permissions

Manage Flood Determination Services

This section describes the FDS Basic roles and their corresponding permissions.

Permissions:

  • Clone Account
  • Manage Account Users
  • Manage Administration for FDS Basic
  • Basic Access for FDS Basic

What it does: Allows you to perform the following:

  • Access the Administration application
  • Create a copy of the account
  • Add and remove users within an account
  • Use the Flood Determination Services application

View Other Accounts

Permissions:

  • Basic Access for FDS Basic
  • View Other User's Orders

What it does: Allows you to perform the following:

  • Use the Flood Determination Services application
  • View order information created by another user

Available Settlement Services permissions

This section defines the available permissions that are available for Settlement Services; while not assigned to a specific role, you can add these permissions to existing roles or create custom roles.

Permission Function
Ability to Move Order Allows you to move an order to another user in the same account.
Ability to Order on Website Allows you to order flood determinations from the website.
Basic Access for FDS Basic Allows you to access the FDS Basic application.
Manage Adminstration for FDS Basic Allows you to access the Administration application.
View Other User's Orders Allows you to view order information created by another user.

Further considerations when creating roles

Be advised of the following:

  • You will only have permissions for the products for which you are licensed.
  • Ensure that the name of the licensed Settlement Services product is incorporated into the role name, when creating customized roles.
