DocOne Default Roles and Permissions

This section describes the roles and permissions available for DocOne Account Administrators.

Basic Access DocOne Default

Permissions: Basic Access for DocOne Default

What it does: Allows you to create, search, copy, and edit transactions from the DocOne Default product, as well as access the Fulfillment Manager application.

Manage DocOne Default

Permissions:

  • Manage Administration for DocOne Default
  • Basic Access for DocOne Default
  • Clone Account
  • Manage Account Users
  • Manage Packages
  • Delete Transactions for DocOne Default

What it does: Allows you to perform the following from the DocOne Default product:

  • Access the Administration application
  • Create custom packages through PACKAGE MANAGEMENT
  • Copy accounts
  • Create organizations
  • Add /remove/modify users from the account
  • Assign contacts
  • Access DocOne Default
  • Delete transactions

Available DocOne permissions

This section defines the available permissions that are available for the DocOne product; while not assigned to a specific role, you can add these permissions to existing roles or create custom roles.

Permission Functions
Basic Access for DocOne Default Allows you to create, search, copy, and edit transactions in DocOne Default.
Delete Transactions Default Allows you to delete Transactions in DocOne Default.
Manage Administration for DocOne Default Allows you to access the Administration application, create organizations, and assign contacts from DocOne Default.
Manage Packages Allows an account administrator to create custom packages within the Package Management feature.

Further considerations when creating roles

Be advised of the following:

  • Ensure that the name of the licensed product is added to the role name.
  • Account administrators can grant additional permissions to Basic Access DocOne <product> users that are part of the Manage DocOne <product> role; for example, they can assign the "Delete Transactions for DocOne <product>" permission to the Basic Access <product>.
