Account Recordkeeping Services Roles and Permissions

This section describes the roles and permissions available for Account Recordkeeping Services Account Administrators.

Manage Account Recordkeeping Services

Permissions:

  • Clone Account
  • Manage Account Users
  • Manage for Account Recordkeeping Services
  • Basic Access for Account Recordkeeping Services

What it does: Allows you to perform the following:

  • Access the Administration application
  • Create a copy of the account
  • Add and remove users within an account
  • Use the Account Recordkeeping Services application

ARS Administrator

Permissions:

  • View Account Owner/Beneficiary
  • Create Account Owner/Beneficiary
  • Modify Account Owner/Beneficiary
  • View Transaction
  • Create Transaction
  • Modify Transaction
  • View Message Center
  • Create Message Center
  • Modify Message Center
  • View Reports

What it does: Allows you to perform the following from the Account Recordkeeping Services application:

  • View, create, and modify party information for account owners and beneficiaries
  • View, create, and modify party information for transactions
  • View, create, and modify party information on the Message Center website
  • Use the Account Recordkeeping Services application

Available Account Recordkeeping Services permissions

This section defines the available permissions that are available for the Account Recordkeeping Services product; while not assigned to a specific role, you can add these permissions to existing roles or create custom roles.

Permission Functions
Basic Access for Account Recordkeepint Services Allows you to use the Account Recordkeeping Services product
Create Account Owner/Beneficiary Allows you to add new party information on the website, including name, address, TIN, account type, mailing address, account summary (balance) etc.
Create Transaction Allows you to create specific transaction information; including transaction date, amount, transaction description (contribution, distribution, earnings)
Create Message Center Allows you to secure e-mail within the Account Recordkeeping Services website
Manage Administration for Account Recordkeeping Services Allows the user to access the Administration application from Account Recordkeeping Services
Modify Account Owner/Beneficiary Allows you to modify the party information/account summary, including name, address, TIN, account type, mailing address, account summary (balance) etc.
Modify Transaction Allows you to modify specific transaction information, including transaction date, amount, transaction description (contribution, distribution, earnings)
Modify Message Center Allows you to access secure e-mail within the Account Recordkeeping Services website
View Account Owner/Beneficiary Allows you to view party information/account summary, including name, address, TIN, account type, mailing address, account summary (balance) etc.
View Transaction Allows you to view specific transaction information, including transaction date, amount, transaction description (contribution, distribution, earnings)
View Message Center Allows you view-only access to secure e-mail within the Account Recordkeeping Services website
View Reports Allows you to view system generated reports and create on-demand reports
