New content is sent into a central SDX system by SDX-Onsite using one of the following techniques
The technique allows for all content to be securely transmitted to accounts that are uniquely tied to the folder being watched. This is useful where there is a need to send content through SDX but where the recipients are always the same and are uniquely tied to the content being sent and where the content provider is able to sort content into different target folders.
The technique allows for all content to be securely transmitted to accounts that are identified via a naming convention tied to the file name within the folder being watched. This is useful where there is a need to send content through SDX to a variety of recipients but where the content provider is able to name the target files accordingly.
The technique allows for all content to be securely transmitted to accounts that are identified within an associated trigger file (in PDF or PCL or TXT). For example, the file named accounts.xls would be sent to the recipients listed in a corresponding accounts.txt file. The accounts.txt file can also detail the sending account, and title etc. This is useful where there maybe more than one recipient or where the sender varies based on the content, or even where there is more than one file to be attached to each message.
The technique allows for all content to be securely transmitted to accounts that are identified within a cover page at the front of the content file itself. For example accounts.pcl would be sent to the recipients listed in the first page within the PCL file itself. The cover page can also detail the sending account, and title etc. This is useful where there may be more than one recipient or where the sender varies based on the content, but where the content provider can only provide print stream type output.
