The SDX-Onsite service will not
run until certain configuration settings are present and validated. Common configuration
errors are:
- A required directory is not writable.
- A webservice URL is not a proper URL.
- Webservices are available, but the onsite user is invalid.
You will get two errors in the System Event Log if any of the above are true. One simply
states configuration error, service shutting down. The other
displays one of the errors listed below. See below for possible solutions (changing folder
perms, changing watch user, changing service user).
