Oracle XML DB is a feature of the Oracle database. It provides a high-performance, native XML
storage and retrieval technology.
Oxygen XML Editor allows you to browse the native
Oracle XML Repository and perform various operations on the resources in the repository.

The actions available at XML Repository level are as follows:
Refresh
- Performs a refresh of the XML Repository.
- Add container
- Adds a new child container to the XML Repository.
Add
resource
- Adds a new resource to the XML Repository.
The actions available at container level are as follows:
Refresh
- Performs a refresh of the selected container.
- Add container
- Adds a new child container to the current one.
Add
resource
- Adds a new resource to the folder.
- Delete
- Deletes the current container.
- Properties
- Shows various properties of the current container.
The actions available at resource level are as follows:
Refresh
- Performs a refresh of the selected resource.
- Open
- Opens the selected resource in the editor.
- Rename
- Renames the current resource
- Move
- Moves the current resource to a new container (also available through drag and
drop).
- Delete
- Deletes the current resource.
- Copy location
- Allows you to copy (to the clipboard) an application-specific URL for the resource that
can then be used for various actions, such as opening or transforming the resources.
- Properties
- Shows various properties of the current resource.
- Compare
- Compares the resources using Diff Files (this action is available in the contextual menu
of two selected resources).
