When the cursor is positioned inside a new context, a tooltip will be shown for a couple of seconds displaying the position of the cursor relative to the current element context.
Here are the common situations that can be encountered:
Figure: Before first block
Figure: Between two block elements
Figure: After last block
Figure: Inside a node
Figure: Before an inline element
Figure: Between two inline elements
Figure: After an inline element
The nodes in the previous cases are displayed in the tooltip window using their names.
To deactivate this feature, open the Preferences dialog box and go to . Even if this option is disabled, you can trigger the display of the position tooltip by pressing Shift+F2.
