Restoring an archive

You would perform this task when you need to restore content from a previous archive.
CAUTION:
This procedure overwrites the current production content. However, before the current content is overwritten, a new archive is created to preserve the current state.
Note: This task requires a LAN connection. You will need to be in the WKFS office connected to the LAN or connected remotely via VPN.
  1. Select a profile from the Profile list.
  2. Select Tools > Restore Archive
    The Restore Archive to Production winbdow is displayed containing a list of all archives associated with your selected profile.
  3. Select the profile you wish to restore.
    Tip: If you know the date of the production content you wish to restore, look closely at the archive filename which includes the date and time.
  4. Click Restore.
    The archive is processed and you can track the progress in the Log. When finished, you are presented with the appropriate messages.
