Requirements Editor Prerequisites

Requirements Editor requires the following minimum system requirements for hardware components and software resources. The installation program checks for disk space and additional system requirements prior to launching the Setup Wizard.
Note:
  • Requirements Editor is a 32-bit application.
  • Expere Engine must be installed before installing Requirements Editor.
  • For new installations, the order of installation is:
    1. Visual Studio 2013 Shell (Isolated)
    2. Visual Studio 2013 update
    3. Visual Studio 2013 Team Explorer
    4. Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x86)
    5. Requirements Editor
Requirement Notes
Visual Studio 2013 Shell (Isolated) As an application developed on the Visual Studio 2013 Application Framework, Requirements Editor requires that the Visual Studio 2013 Shell (Isolated) Redistributable Package is installed on the target computer.
Note: If attempting to install Requirements Editor before installing the Visual Studio 2013 Isolated Shell, you will receive the following message:

This application requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Isolated Shell. Please run the vs_isoshell.exe that you received with this package and then run this Setup Wizard again.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86) [C++ VC-redist.x86] The Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package installs runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries required to run applications developed with Visual C++ on a computer that does not have Visual C++ installed.
Note: If attempting to install Requirements Editor before installing C++ VC-redist.x86, you will receive the following message:

This application requires the C++ 2015 x86 Redistributable. Please run the vc_redist.x86 that you received with this package and then run this Setup Wizard again.
NET Framework 4.7.2 Microsoft .NET Framework is a development platform including certain components required to utilize Requirements Editor. The Visual Studio 2013 Shell installer detects the .NET version installed on the target machine and installs the .NET 4.7.2 framework if it is not present on the machine.

Note: Adobe Internet Explorer extension must be installed for the Preview and PDF Outline tabs to function.

Disk Space 2GB available for installation
Note: This includes disk space requirements for the Visual Studio 2013 Shell.
