Placing Borders Around Objects
To place a border around an object, you create a rectangle that is the same size or slightly larger than the object and center them on top of each other. You can use this method to add borders to text boxes, data fields, images, etc.
To place a border around an object
1. Create a rectangle that is the same size as the object you want to border:

Select the line color and thickness you want for your border.

Select Transparent as the fill style.
2. Place the rectangle next to the object and select both the rectangle and the object:

3. Position the two objects together by doing the following:

Click the
to center the two objects horizontally. -
Click the
to center the two objects vertically.
4. Adjust the size of the rectangle to get the effect you want and recenter the objects if necessary:
