Arrays for Circle Fields

For certain forms, it may be useful to use arrays for circle fields. For instance, arrays could be helpful for forms that have lists of choices to choose from:

Each set of responses would have the same data ID. The indexes would correspond to the position of the item in the list.

To define an array for circle fields

1. Create your circle fields and position them on your form.

2. Select all the circle fields in a set and display the Field property page.

3. Enter the data ID and description for the fields.

4. Click on the Data ID label to expose the Data Dimension property.

5. Click the in the Data Dimension value field once to enter a 1 and the Data Index 1 field will appear:

6. For each circle field in the set, do the following:

• Click on the field on the form.

• Enter the index in the Data Index 1 field. The indexes should correspond to the field’s place in the list:

The above example shows the index for the last item in the list for question 2.
