Using the Grid

The grid defines the default horizontal and vertical positions for your form. It is created auto­ma­ti­cally when you create a form. By using the grid, you can easily align your objects accu­rately when you are moving them with your mouse. You can use the grid “as is” or you can de­fine different measurements and change its appearance.

The grid is always present. You can choose to display it or hide it, depending on what you are doing and your personal preference. A “snap to” option enables you to align objects to the grid, even if the grid is hidden. A second grid is also available if you want two different grid settings. You can move between the two grids as needed while you are working.
