Exporting All Pages and Overlays in a Form File

You may export all the pages and overlays in a form file at once. When you export all files, you cannot choose the format:

  • If your form is an SFX file, your pages will be exported as UFF files and your overlays as CDD files.

  • If your form is an XTemplate file, your pages and overlays will be exported as xcomp files.

A separate file will be created for each page and overlay in the form. They will be given the page or overlay name and number as their file name and the appropriate extension.

When you export all the files at once, they are not placed in your de­fault directories. You must select the folder where you want to save them.

To export all pages and overlays in a form

1. Do one of the following to open the Export All Files dialog:

  • Right-click on the form name in the FormView tree and select Export All Files from the context menu:

  • Open the File menu and select Export All Files.

2. Navigate to the directory where you want to place the exported files:

3. Click to export the files. A message will appear to confirm the number of files you just exported:
