Color Defaults

You can change the default colors for data fields, circle fields, margins, and grids. You can select standard colors or create and select custom colors. They are set on the Colors tab of the Options dialog. These settings are for display in I-32 Forms Design only. They do not affect your forms when they are displayed or printed in an end-user application.

The options in the Workspace group affect your page display:

  • Grid 1 changes the color of your main grid.

  • Grid 2 changes the color of your second grid.

  • Margins changes the color of your margins.

The options in the Fields group affect your form fields:

  • Data field changes the color of your data fields and placeable bitmap fields.

  • Circle field changes the color of your circle fields.

Hint:

Make sure your margin color is different from both your grid colors, so you can see your margin lines when you display your grid.

To set the color defaults

1. Click the of the option you want to change to display the Color drop-down box:

2. Select your color by doing one of the following:

  • Choose the color you want from the Color drop-down box.

  • Click and select one of the basic colors from the Color dia­log box.

  • Click and create a custom color.
