Applying Default Settings to Existing Objects

If you change your form defaults while you are working, your changes only apply to new objects. However, you can selectively apply your new defaults to existing objects if you wish. You may also occasionally want to return an individual object to its default settings.

To apply the default attributes to an object

1. Right-click on the object that you want to apply default settings to. The context menu will appear:

2. Select Apply Default Attributes from the context menu. The current form de­faults will be applied to the object.

Note:

When you apply default attributes to an existing data field object, only the object properties and character spacing will be affected. The field description, number of characters, and number of lines will not change.
