Deleting Objects and Pages

The keyboard is often the easiest way to delete objects from your form, espec­ially if you need to delete a number of them.

To delete pages with the keyboard

1. Press + to activate the form tree pane.

2. Press + to display the FormView tab if necessary.

3. Use or to highlight the name of the page you want to delete.

4. Press . A confirmation message will appear.

5. Click to delete the page.

To delete an object from the form page with the keyboard

1. Press + to activate the form display pane.

2. Use the , , , and keys to select the object you want to delete.

3. Press .

To delete a data field, signature field, placeable bitmap, circle field, or barcode field through the tree

1. Press + to activate the form tree pane.

2. Press + to display the DataView tab if necessary.

3. Use or to highlight the field you want to delete.

4. Press .

Hint:

If you want to delete several fields that are adjacent to each other in the tree, you can select them all at once. Just hold down while you select the fields with the arrow key.
