Customizing the Toolbars
Like the form and property pane, the tool bar display can be customized. You can choose to hide or display individual tool bars. You can also move, resize, and float the tool bars.
Hiding the tool bars
Since most of the functions on the tool bars are duplicated on the context menu or, in some cases, the main menu or the keyboard, you may eventually find that there are some tool bars you do not use. If you want, you may choose to hide these tool bars to get them out of your way.

1. Open the View menu and select Toolbars. A submenu will appear. The currently displayed tool bars will be checked on the menu.
2. Deselect the tool bar you want to hide.

1. Right-click anywhere in the tool bar/menu area to display the context menu. The currently displayed tool bars will be checked on the menu.
2. Deselect the tool bar you want to hide.
To redisplay a hidden tool bar1. Open the View menu and select Toolbars. A submenu will appear. The tool bars that are not checked on the menu are currently hidden.
2. Click on the name of the tool bar you want to display.
or
1. Right-click anywhere in the tool bar/menu area to display the context menu. The tool bars that are not checked on the menu are currently hidden.
2. Select the tool bar you want to display.
Moving, resizing, and floating tool bars
Individual toolbars can be repositioned anywhere along the top, bottom, left, or right side of the form display pane. You may rearrange them in the positions that work best for your work habits and preferences.
You can also “float” the toolbars anywhere on the screen. The floating tool bar will appear in a mini-window. The name of the tool bar will appear in the title bar of the mini-window. You can move a floating tool bar anywhere on the screen.
To move a tool bar1. Position your mouse pointer on the raised vertical line between the tool bars:

2. Hold your left mouse button down.
3. Drag the tool bar to its new location. You can dock it anywhere in the tool bar area at the top of your screen or at the left, right, or bottom of your form display pane.
To float a tool barDouble-click on the raised vertical line. The tool bar will “float” to the form display pane.
or
1. Position your mouse pointer on the raised vertical line.
2. Hold your left mouse button down.
3. Drag the tool bar to the screen area and drop it anywhere.
To move a floating tool bar1. Position your mouse pointer on the title bar.
2. Hold your left mouse button down and drag the tool bar to its new location.
To dock a floating tool barDouble-click on the tool bar title bar. The tool bar will redock in its previous position.
or
1. Position your mouse pointer on the title bar.
2. Hold your left mouse button down and drag the tool bar to the place where you want to redock it. You can dock it anywhere in the tool bar area at the top of the screen or at the left, right, or bottom of the form display pane.
To resize a floating tool bar1. Position your mouse pointer on the top, bottom, left or right edge of the tool bar, just as you do when you size a window. A resize arrow will appear.
2. Hold your left mouse pointer down and drag the edge of the tool bar:

To increase or decrease the width of the tool bar, drag the left or right edge. The height of the tool bar will adjust to accommodate the width of the buttons.

To increase or decrease the height of the tool bar, drag the top or bottom edge. The width of the tool bar will adjust to accommodate the height of the buttons.
