Changing the Order of Your Overlays
The order in which overlays appear in the FormView tree is the order in which they will be applied to your page. This sometimes makes a difference in the way a page looks, especially if you are “layering” objects for special effects.
If two objects occupy the same location on a page, the last object added will overprint the previous one. If, for example, you had an overlay with solid rectangles or color blocks and wanted to overprint them with a customer logo, you would place the “logo” overlay after the “color block” overlay in the list to ensure that it printed over the color block area. If you placed them the other way around, the color block would obscure the logo when it was printed.
When you add an overlay to a page, it is always added to the bottom of the list. If you add your overlays in the wrong order or need to insert an overlay, you may change their order with your mouse or through the context menu.
To change the overlay order with your mouse
1. Select the overlay you want to move in the FormView tree.
2. Hold your left mouse button down and drag the mouse pointer to the location where you want to insert the overlay:

3. Release the mouse button to insert the overlay.
To change the overlay order through the context menu
1. Right-click on the name of the overlay you want to move in the FormView tree. The context menu will appear:

2. Select the direction from the menu:
-
Move Up moves the overlay up one place in the list.
