DITA Best Practices : Phrase/Inline elements

Phrase (or inline) elements are applied to words or phrases within a block element, and typically do not force new lines in the output.

Examples of phrase elements include:

  • term
  • codeph
  • uicontrol
  • msgph
  • tm (trademark)
