It is often beneficial to be able to see your content while authoring it in more of the look and feel that it will be displayed in after you publish. This procedure is designed to help you see your content in a manner similar to the published output as it appears using the GRC styling.
Step-by-step guide
Follow these steps within the oXygen editor.
- Open the Preferences dialog (Options > Preferences).
- Within the left navigation pane, click Document Type Association, click DITA and then click the Duplicate button.
The Document type dialog is displayed. - In the Name field, enter a name for the new Document Type. (recommended: DITA - WKFS-GRC).
- In the Priority drop list, select Highest.
- Click the Author tab, and select the CSS sub-tab.
- Click the New button ( + ).
The CSS dialog is displayed. - Click the Browse button, then browse to and select the following file:
D:\DITA-OT\DITA-OT-WKFS\css\-dita-infodev-GRC.css - Enter a title (recommended InfoDev-GRC). This becomes the title you select from the Styles button in the oXygen editor.
- Ensure that the Alternate option is selected.
- Click OK to accept the settings and return to the Document type dialog. The Preferences dialog should appear as follows:
- Click OK to close Preferences.
- Back in the editor, click the Styles button and select InfoDev-GRC.
Your content displayed in the Authoring pane should now reflect the GRC styles.
