DITA Best Practices : How to Display the Survey Ribbon

This procedure details how to display the Survey ribbon in the upper right corner of the WebHelp page.

Important

  • This procedure is available only to pages that have been transformed using the Responsive transformation.
  • To customize the questions displayed in the survey, contact Kel Mankenberg.

Step-by-step guide

To display the survey ribbon:

  1. Transform your content in oXygen using the WKFS WebHelp Responsive - Survey transformation.

  2. Before publishing your content to one of the servers, verify that the Profile is still selected and click the Survey Timespan button.

     

    The Survey Timespan window is displayed.

     
     
  3. Select a date from the Date to start survey and  Date to end survey date pickers.
     
  4. Click Modify Dates.
    The files associated with the selected Profile are modified so that the ribbon is displayed during and between the selected dates.

  5. Publish the transformed content as described in Using PubAssist FTP.
