n There are two fee categories in ComplianceOne that contain a HUD # field: Closed End Real Estate or Residence and Consumer Open End Real Estate and Residence. Each category has HUD line numbers that are open for fees.
n When setting up a user-defined fee and assigning a HUD line number, verify the HUD number is not used by an existing fee.
n Fees cannot be added at transaction time. Fees can be added in the administration function of ComplianceOne and will be available for new transactions.
n Do not add or modify the HUD line # assigned to a fee during a transaction because this may result in the fee not being disclosed properly.
n The HUD 1 or HUD 1A Settlement Statement will automatically be selected in Document Preparation based on the characteristics of your loan transaction. Fees not accommodated by the Settlement Statement will print on the addendum.
n Data Entry must be reviewed and completed. Calculate Totals must be selected for each form before printing.
